Jenna Boldt

EDUCATION

Jenna was born and raised in Lakewood, WA, and attended Lakes High School. She then moved east of the cascades to attend college at Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA. Jenna graduated from Gonzaga cum laude in 2010, with a Bachelor’s degree in History, with a minor in Criminal Justice. Jenna returned to Spokane in 2011 to attend Gonzaga University School of Law, where she graduated cum laude and received her Juris Doctorate in 2014.

EXPERIENCE

Jenna began working directly with clients while still in law school as a Rule 9 intern at Gonzaga’s University Legal Assistance clinic, an organization where qualified law students and professors provide free legal services to those in need within the Spokane community. It was during this time that Jenna was first exposed to Social Security Disability cases, and discovered her passion for helping the disabled and people in need throughout her community. While in law school, Jenna returned home to Lakewood during the summer months and worked as an extern at the Crystal Judson Family Justice Center in Tacoma, WA, providing free legal services to victims of domestic violence.

After spending her first year out of law school working for a large company in a corporate setting, Jenna decided to follow her passion for disability law and take a position where she was not only able to continue helping disabled persons in their fight for Social Security Disability benefits, but also expand her practice to representing injured workers in their Worker’s Compensation claims with the Department of Labor & Industries. Since that time, Jenna has successfully represented claimants before the Social Security Administration, the Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals, the Superior Courts of both King & Pierce County, and the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington.

PRACTICE STYLES

Jenna understands that for disabled individuals, fighting for their benefits against powerful government agencies like the Social Security Administration or the Department of Labor & Industries can be overwhelming and feel like a David and Goliath situation. Jenna strives to make her clients as comfortable as possible during the pursuit of the benefits they are entitled to, and to take as much stress as possible off of her clients by reassuring them that they have an experienced and eager advocate on their side each step of the way. Jenna is driven to make sure that her clients do not get taken advantage of by complex administrative systems or powerful agencies, and that they don’t have to take down Goliath on their own.

AFTER FIVE

When Jenna is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs, watching Gonzaga basketball, and cheering on the Seahawks. Jenna and her siblings grew up playing golf at the Oakbrook Country Club, and there is nothing she loves more than getting together with family and hitting the links. Jenna is also very involved in practicing yoga. She uses the mental strength and focus that yoga creates as a tool to reduce the stress and anxiety that can arise in a legal battle, and help keep her clients at ease. Jenna hopes to one day obtain her yoga certification so that she can teach in her free time.
